The service and publisher
These terms apply to your use of Locked In Poker, its app, and this website. The publisher is Christian Carey, reachable at christianrcarey@gmail.com. Use of the service is subject to these terms and any mandatory rights that apply where you live.
Locked In Poker provides poker training and study tools. It does not offer wagering, real-money play, cash prizes, or a gambling account. Strategy information is educational and cannot guarantee any result in actual play.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into an agreement where you live to use the service. Keep your account information accurate, protect your sign-in credentials, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Some practice may be available as a guest. Device-local guest data may be lost when device storage is cleared, the app is removed, or you change devices.
Personal use and content
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the service for your own personal study, subject to these terms and your access level. App content, artwork, software, training data, and strategy materials belong to the publisher or its licensors.
Do not redistribute or resell training data, scrape or bulk extract content, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, use another person’s account without permission, or use the service unlawfully. Mandatory exceptions under applicable law are preserved.
Subscriptions and free trials
Paid features may be provided through an auto-renewing Pro subscription. The app and Apple’s purchase confirmation show the available plan, full price, billing period, included features, and any trial offer before you authorize payment. Prices and availability may differ by region.
Payment is charged through your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to the terms shown by Apple. Renewal charges follow the price and terms disclosed for your subscription.
A trial is available only when offered and when you meet Apple’s eligibility requirements. The purchase screen states the trial length and the price and billing period that follow it. To avoid the first paid charge, cancel before the deadline shown by Apple. An unused portion of a trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancellation normally prevents future renewals; access continues for the applicable period under Apple’s terms. Purchase restoration requires the Apple account used to purchase.
Apple processes App Store payments and refund requests. Refunds are subject to Apple’s policies and any mandatory consumer rights. Contact us for access problems; use Apple’s refund service for App Store refund requests.
Cancellation, data, and account deletion
Canceling or ending Pro access may limit paid features. It does not itself delete your training history. You can delete your account through Profile → Delete account. Account deletion removes active account and training records and cannot be undone through the app.
Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel billing separately through Apple before deleting the account. See the privacy policy for data handling and retention.
Availability and changes
We may update features, training content, and supported platforms, and may need to interrupt service for maintenance or security. We do not promise uninterrupted access or a particular improvement in poker performance.
Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of a material service change affecting paid access. App Store billing, cancellations, and mandatory remedies remain governed by the applicable terms and law.
Responsibility and your legal rights
Use your own judgment when applying study material. To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided as available without a promise of accuracy, uninterrupted operation, or fitness for a particular outcome. We are not responsible for poker losses resulting from decisions you make outside the app.
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibilities, warranties, refunds, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your mandatory consumer protections.
Updates and contact
We may revise these terms as the service develops. The date above identifies the current version. We will provide notice of material changes where required by law, and seek agreement when required.
